MY Rover is a light green colour, however it seems to change when I am driving it, basically it becomes invisible.
When driving along and approaching junctions where I have right of way other road users cannot see me coming and just pull out in front of me, a similar thing happens when I am on a roundabout, cars coming onto the roundabout cannot see me.
In almost all cases the other driver does eventually seem to register that something has almost crashed into their side, perhaps they notice the two fingers pointing upwards on my right hand.
Big lorry's also have a problem as they don't see me until they are within six inches of my rear bumper.
Strange thing is that pedestrians seem to see me OK.
I'm wondering what I can do, perhaps I should fit one of those orange flashing lights on the roof, or maybe fix my horn so it sounds constantly.
Any advice gratefully received.
Pete

I regret to tell you Pandj that this is a serious illness. Regrettably there is no cure. The only thing you can do to prolong your life is to give way to absolutely everyone regardless of right of way and this sometimes keeps the condition in remission. Of course it is not always possibly when encountering the perennial drunks, who seem to be able to seek you out, no matter what, and drive you into a ditch.

I've just been told it's Klingon Green and comes with an automatic cloaking device.

I find the give way to the right law frightening. There are two roads in my village where it applies and I watch out for them but when you are in a strange town it is very easy to get caught out. When they started to introduce roundabouts in France it did away with many right priority junctions and one would think they would have changed the ones that remained but no, the French have both systems. it is not always easy to see if the road from the right has a worn give way line on the juction or not and I find it dangerous and illogical but when in France........... I wish that they would fit indicators as standard on French cars too instead of an optional extra.

roundabouts, good quiz question for Ali. Which roundabout in France does not have the same rules as the others?
Wrote off a good ds21 pallas, in the seventies, when a renault hit me. He was avoiding a tractor that just popped out of a side road. Big arguments about right of way. Took ages to get my accident form signed and agreed.

The roundabout in Vire used to be give way to traffic joining, then swapped over to 'normal' which confused everyone. Even now I exercise more caution there. The General Patton roundabout (which has a tank in the middle) in Avranches has give ways on the roundabout but it's more of an elongated junction than roundabout.
