I am aware of the restrictions imposed by airlines when travelling from uk to france. However, except for weapons, most don't seem to apply to ferries. My question is, does anyone know if there are restrictions on stuff when travelling on TGV? I presume there will be a customs stop. Am particularly interested in the carriage of liquids, (but anything else too).

Bisdu, is this in relation to a trip via Eurostar (as you mentioned customs)? If so, the following may be useful. www.eurostar.com/uk-en/contact-us/faqs#.UwZyRCFDsukIt seems their restrictions are more or less the same as ferries. I've never known there to be any restrictions on the TGV itself....they may take a dim view if you tried to take a cow on though...(sort of carrying liquids)
