The worst weather we've seen here in 20 years!First time the dog hasn't been taken out for a walk-just a quick dash out into the garden.Pumping out cellar all day.Thankfully non of our trees were felled. How the birds manage to fly in such weather I don't know.Had to put their food on ground as blew it straight off bird tables.Lecky on and off,and hardly any channels on french tv available Hope no-one suffered any damage.

Dreadful rain and wind here,35 near Rennes, but apart from a leaky window we haven't had any problems.

Had a phone call from a neighbour, apparently some of our fencing has disappeared We return on the 8th, hoping the only problem is the fencing.

Same here, my field is virtually underwater, branches down and the roof off my old goathouse was lifted in the storm, carried 20 metres and smashed into the chicken run taking out several posts.
Not the best way to start the year. one advantage is the mild weather which has made a significant saving on fuel over the same period last year.
