Horrible over here, started work at 5.30am and working until Christmas eve, can't get to France until 27th and then only a long weekend, only 14 years until retirement :-( To top it all at the inlaws this Christmas will see a lot of telly but hear none.:-) Not that bad really perhaps the Lotto will come up.

Poor you, never mind 14 years will fly past, and Christmas TV will be rubbish so you won't miss much except possibly Morcombe & Wise for the 50th time.

Loved reading this thread I'm feeling so chilled and relaxed that I thought Christmas Day was the week after next! I've sent no cards (although did visit all family whilst in the UK dropping off presies) I've done no shopping or decorating. I know there's at least two Christmas puds (left overs from prev years) in the cupboard ........ I guess Christmas for me will start on Tuesday night lol Loadsa trees around here too Bis - have you looked in the brico's also? Poor David (who is either 59 or 64 but if retiring in 14 years can't be either...) I well remember the days of excitement boarding the ferry France bound, Maccy Dos in Saint Malo for brekkies, the glee when turning into the drive and 2 days of warming the house up again
