Yes £85 million paid for someone who kicks a piece of inflated animal around a lawned field. Total insanity!!!
The club with the biggest bank balance buys the best players and wins the silver, charges the highest prices for tickets and so it goes on in an ever upward spiral. They call it sport......what a joke! it is nothing but big business, to call it sport is an insult to intelligence.

also bear in mind that he will bin at least 10%of this amount if his agent is any good, maybe more, plus the agent will be in line for a bung for getting him to sign in the first place. Trust me on this one.

It is just plain obscene.....nobody is worth £300.000 a week and certainly not some poxy footballer.
It would take the average person over 6 years to earn what he earns in a week, how can that possibly be justified? ............The world has gone completely mad.
Football was always traditionally supported by the working classes, it was their release at the weekends to go and support their teams. Since big business got their greedy claws into it, most families can't afford tickets or season tickets to support their teams. the whole game has been turned into a giant poker game where the biggest investor with the biggest bank balance wins.
Big money and insatiable greed destroys everything. I hate football but I feel sorry for those genuine supporters who have seen their game destroyed to be turned into some kind of amusement for the billionaires and the super rich

Wigan winning the FA Cup didn't count then. Good luck to the player,to make as much money as possible in the shortest possible time, he could be injuryed tomorrow and never kick a ball again. He will be lucky to see out his contract before he is sold on again.
