LOL - just saw this statement on the BBC live page:
12h38
Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Nick Clegg are now all in the House of Commons. We're not sure though who's talking to who, or even if anyone's talking to anyone. One thing we can say for almost certain - it's unlikely that Brown and Cameron are discussing an alliance.
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

You couldn't make it up, but it's good entertainment ;D best quote of the day..... " New Politics? It stinks like a prop forwards jock strap"! Lib - Lib Pact. Discussions are in progress. Lib - "What do you fancy for tea? Omelette or Egg and Chips?" Lib - "You any preferences? I think Egg and Chips" Lib - "I agree, Egg and Chips it is" Consenus once again, using the alternative vote system.

Ok we have had all the public face of this Con/Lib pact, but there is no way the old school Cons will ditch the first past the post vote in favor of PR, it will end up in a behind the seines blood bath. And I’ll put money on the fact that Labor had no intentions of forming a pact with the LibDems, it was just a way of making the Cons give more ground to them, and in so doing they literally (Labor) lit the blue fuse and retired.
