Huhne has had to admit he is a barefaced LIAR. He lied to Parliarment, he lied to the Police, He lied to his constituents and his lies perverted the course of justice. Hopefully he will now go to Jail where he belongs.

Career in tatters? A broken man? Punishment enough??
Schandenfreude - deriving pleasure from the suffering of others - is not what I feel, at this time...

And on a personal level he lied to members of his family, which I cannot abide.

Well, while we're trotting out platitudes -
'Let he who is without sin cast the first stone'...
We're all as bad as each other, in one way or another....
Some of us are prepared to admit it.

Dear Annon here is my platitude,
F**k Him
Let me in no way be either compared or associated with his actions by reason of some scriptural quotation.
Just love a tale of mendacious behaviour that has an happy ending, bet he wishes he kept it in his trousers now. For a change the two attempts by his legal team to have the case dropped did not succeed. Perhaps the Judge went to a different school than his legals........

Career in tatters? A broken man? Punishment enough?? Schandenfreude - deriving pleasure from the suffering of others - is not what I feel, at this time... This is not just a case of dishonesty. This man is an MP, was a cabinet minister and happy to take the title "The Right Honorable Chris Huhne" he abused his wealth and position to try and cheat his way out of a serious criminal offence. If he is a broken man it is all of his own making, he deserves everything he gets

I didn't expect you to agree with me, JohnP (do you ever? !) - and lib stole some of your thunder - but as long as it comes out that's the main thing.
