Anyhow, I always wanted to know if the industrial chemists who invented SunnyD allow their own families to drink it.

I'm with Wibble in recognising that the gains from Multi-national inward investment are greater than any loss in tax revenue on profits. It's just another political stroke to flag up evil Big Business now.... Are you saying that because there investment is great then its ok to defraud the exchequer?.The one rule for us and one rule for them applies.

Any company that stays within the law and employs as many people as they can giving them a decent wage is OK in my book.

That's essentially what I'm saying, CC...
I'd still go further and accept behaviour outside the law, or on its fringes, if that's what it takes to keep going.... The regulators/inspectors are there to even things up so why not take business risks with them too, if that's what it takes to keep going...?
And keeping going means keeping investors happy too, without whom there'd be no business activity...
Spare me please moral arguments when people's jobs are at stake... I'd take it as so much sanctimonious tosh.....
