Don't bother checking my trade notifications much now I am virtualy retired, but glanced at a couple of snippets today.
First is that the BBc has switched on permission for TV downloads to all IOS devices ie iphone and ipad. They are allowing viewing for up to 30 days instead of 7. So you can download programs and films to your devices and take them away on holiday or view when travelling.
Secondly, Tesco have bought the ebook company that Andy McNab co owns. This is a serious company that allows ebook reading on many devices and the storage of purchased books can be Cloud stored allowing access by multi devices. The book list is mainly new popular books. A very serious attempt by Tesco to start a head to head with Amazon books

New Kindles announced today.
Some very interesting models, 3 new ones. OK, usa supply only at moment but the big one is a tablet that looks like it could give the ipad a run for its money. The 7 inch kindle fire will be on sale in uk HD version at £159 standard at £129, thats cheap for a colour tablet. The new paperwhite with glow is good too.
Kobo and barnes and nobles new Nook new ereaders look good too. Will be available in europe, well UK first probaly.
