I've done this by accident before now, but thought I'd mention it. (E) makes a 'euro' symbol & I think (e) probably works too, this is using Windows 7 and Microsoft Outlook.

Mine is on the 4, you have to ALT and someat; bert I find that Outlook doesn't like it so I rarely use it

altgr 4 = € - ahhhh that works altgr e = é - oops not on mine - didn't know I have a é though altgr and the letters = ó ú ó á oooooooooooo

€ alt gr e does it BUT ive actually got a € button next to the uppy downy lefty righty arrow thingys but cant get that to work ,
