Thats incredible.
Tell u what ............. we bought a new TV 2 years ago, LCD/LED flat screen with built in satt, loadsa pluggy in slots, Vera n all, is wonderful. Out-dated already. BUT give it another few years and TVs will carry all this stuff and more.
Tekky is moving at such a fast pace, gets faster n faster every month!
For me and prob many others, its a fab time of life to watch these things happen when a 30 years ago I recall bashing the orange tubey thingy in the back of our telly to make it work........... When mobile phones were the size and weight of a breeze block.

I'm with you ali. I worked for a large telecommunications company back in the past, on the transmission systems and we were in awe at how fast things were moving, even for us at the cutting edge. When I left back in 2006 there was a system introduced between leicester and london that could carry the equivalent of the entire uk telephone capacity down one pair of fibre optics, incredible, just glad I wasnt still around when someone decided to chop through it. and as for mobile phones, well I was part of the task force that changed over London to the digital network back in 1989, one day I was given a mobile phone, only worked outside and the handset was like a large TV remote but the battery was like ali says the size of a breeze block. I thought I was so cool, on the streets of central London amongst the yuppies with a mobile phone. where will it all end? ?

All too much for me, I'm afraid ... scares the shite out of me!!!!!! Wonderful for those who have the brains and the confidence to use it all though.
