[/img] This has stopped them from gobbling all the seed and chopped apple.All the little birds plus blackbirds,and spotted woodpeckers can get in and out ok.OH has made two-got fed up with me dashing into the garden waving a teatowel and shouting things like 'go away you bad birds' ;D ;D

Thats brill tinks I do a similar thing over carrot seed only smaller grids to stop the sparrers from dust bathing in the plot.

Strange isn't it. We rarely see collared doves here so I miss them and the pigeons are not remotely interested in the food we put out for the wild birds. They even walk around the potager sometimes and are not interested in eating my veggies like they are supposed to do.

Lucky you MM!8 doves and 4 woodpigeons all day today.Still can't pinch food now-just walking round and round the outside of the cages. ;D Hope they get fed up soon and depart.
