Mine's drying out already but then it never got wet all the way through even though we had just over 25mm of rain. Amazing how it doesn't get through turf (I've been trying to edge my gravel drive where the grass just creeps over it as time goes by) and the difference between it being half damp Monday and so dry I was covered in dust on Tuesday is amazing! Got loads of sowing and hoeing done (me) and mowing done (the Term). Ali your parsley in your original compost is a lot healthier and greener than the ones I transplanted into my compost with perlite in. There's something wrong here so need to rethink what I use for seedlings and early potting on. My chillies have not grown one bit in the last two weeks outside - need to pot them on pronto as I found that the tomatoes started to pick up a bit when I potted them on, even though they had hardly any roots.

Discovered a Giant Snake whilst watering my Geraniums.... I courageously wrestled the Gigantic monster to the ground and threw into the raging torrents of our nearby river.... Actually I put it in a small plastic box and took to the nearby stream where a small trickle of water flows gently over well worn pebbles .....and gently released the terrified little snake into the undergrowth... . Regards, GG..

Just had a quick looky on google reader as I'm struggling to catch up with everyone's blogs (and social networks/forums etc etc!) - actually have just made some comfrey tea myself which will be my blog post tomorrow ;D but wanted to say - yes - I have Wilko's tomato fertiliser cos I like the liquid ones which are hard to come by here.

Yeah yeah yeah - till low cloud comes in and you're stuck on a mouldy grey beach, that said if, indeed if, you were still on the beach in your bikini at 9.24 pm then u need your head looking at ;D ;D ;D
Used to love the smartie from s'thampton across, wicked machine.
