Another bad night, he just won't settle.
The vet says he needs the large hood because of his long snout, his nose reaches the end of it, the photo doesn't realy show that.
He can drink OK if we make sure his bowl is full to the top but when eating we have to hold his bowl for him.
Tomorrow I have to go to the UK for three nights leaving Jean alone with him.
I don't want to take off the hood incase we have problems putting it back on and it could only be for today as Jean could not do it on her own.
We thought I had picked the best time to travel but it now seems it couldn't have been a worse time.
While in the UK I will try and buy a different collar for him.
I have a feeling I will return to a very stressed Jean.

Sorry you are having a bad time with him. He will get a bit more used to it as time goes by. Maybe your vet can suggest something to quieten him down a little. There is a homeopathic drug called Nervosyl which I use on my dog occasionally to quieten him down a little when he gets stressed out. I get it through my local pharmacie.

Rowan and Cormac didn't have lampshades at all after they were done. As far as I remember the vet said to try and keep them quiet for a couple of days ........ yeah right. Same with the cats

I have just returned from the UK, Jean had to take Sam back to the vet yesterday, he has a large lump in the region of his operation, the vet gave him two injections and some moe tablets, we have to go to vet again on Saturday for another checkup.
