My Mum is 83 and is loosing the plot a bit, I like to help the aged so I never send her a Mothers day card on the UK day, it send her one on the french Mothers day (June I think) it confuses the hell out of her as she cannot remember why someone in France is sending her a card - and why its 3 months late!!!

Even if the card people and flower suppliers make a mint out of Mothering Sunday so what? I like the chance to send my Mum a sentimental card to tell her how much she means to me and how much I love her, and yes I could just tell her these things, but if I did she would think she was on her way out and I was saying Goodbye!!

If I didn't send anything my mum would be most &^&*%&^%$&* off ;D I know she looks forward to 'an arrival' of something all the way from France Jersey.
Hopefully the flowers sent this year will arrive tomorrow and I know a) she's going to phone coz of the Wales France match and b) coz her package arrived.....
When we waz kids we used to pick the wild daffys which were abundant in our neck o the woods and take them home to mum.
