Mobile phone footage of a Labrador chasing deer in a park while his irate owner chases after him has been viewed more than 1.2 million times on YouTube.
In the 47-second film, the runaway dog takes no notice of the man who shouts "Fenton" in an increasingly angry voice as he helplessly chases after his pet - and the dozens of deer being pursued by it.

The stark fact is that the Royal Park wardens will shoot dogs that are harrassing the deer which is probably why the idiot owner of Fenton is nowhere to be seen. He obviously knows his dog does this, so why the hell did he let him off when the deer were about eh? Stupid moron.

He could have dropped the lead, who knows?? I am always doubtful about the authenticity of these sort of videos.

The vid made me hoot I must admit.
Once upon a time we lived in the New Forest.... when we had the brown dog first (18 months old ex-stray spaniel effect) it was apparent that he was a hunter.
He used to drive fli nuts. Where we lived we just walked out of the back gate into open Forest and fli would often return after an hour cussing and swearing coz the brown dog had gone awol for 20 minutes again.
Then one day all 3 of us were passing a chestnut pony, I got this 'feeling' and said to fli that we should put brown dog on the lead "oh no not worth it" says fli and in that instant brown dog chased chestnut pony who winnied for back-up and we landed with brown dog rounding up at least 12 NF ponies within sight of us but 1/2 a mile away!
We were running and yelling just like the chap in the vid.
Poor ole brown dog is always kept on a long lead (one of those 'stretchy' ones) nowadays. Through all of the dog training and agility classes we went to we simply cannot get him to resist the chase.
Wonder if its something to do with the colour brown ;D
