Lovely story.Just wish more people here in France could rescue some of the sad ,beautiful dogs who are patiently waiting for new owners in the SPAs and refuges like Sosad.Lots of dogs are put down because these places are overcrowded. Please look there before going to a breeder. You can help by fostering if you can't have a dog permanently. Hate reading ads which say -puppies ready for Xmas!NOt TOYS!

Tinks, there are a couple of things happening in the background here with ref to Spa too - and I cant agree more.
Firstly 'puddleduck' has just joined us and I understand that she is involved with the spa at Pontivy (? coz not too sure which spa).
Secondly, on Feb 11 2012 there will be a concert night in aid of Fougeres Spa up here in 35-land (200 to 300 tickets to be on sale). A friend of mine is currently organising it and we're about to start to work on the advertising and marketing of the event together. That is once the red tape has been cut !!!
I agree with you. One of our 2 dogs which we fondly call 'black dog' is the spitting image of the dog in the copy above, which is why my dad sent it to me. Our 'black dog' was left in a barn at 7 months old when her owners moved back to blighty.
Our 'brown dog' is an ex-bin raider from Wales and we had him at 18 months(ish)
Previous to these two we had my best ever friend who was a Blue Cross dog in the UK and arrived with us when he was 4 (sadly missed every day).
We're with you 100%
