Watch Stark Racing on TV (U.K. Times) Sat Sept 17 at 07.00am - Channel 4 Sat Sept 17 at 19.15 - Motors TV Sun Sept 18 at 10.48 - Motors TV Stark finished 9th overall in Race 1 and sadly a DNF in Race 2 due to fumes in the car from rubber tyre pick-up burning on the exhaust with driver having to retire from race and go to hospital - All well now and since had quite a few beers and a curry ;D

;D I used to race in sprints and hillclimbs - that's one car on a circuit against the clock with cars divided into different classes to suit engine, tyres and blah blah ........... cheap (ish) form of motorsport same kind of car that Ali and Steve used to have GT = grand tourismo - the British GT championship is not so cheap and a couple of my mates compete in it - it's true circuit racing with up to 30 cars on track divided into different classes - features some very expensive Audi R8's Ford GT40, Ferrari 458, 430, Mercedes SLS and can cost up to £300K for the car ....... often has the latest Stig from Top Gear competing and a few other "motorsport names" combination of pro drivers and gentleman drivers - all good fun

ah Touring Car, that is what I was thinking of originally, only couldn't remember what it was called. In the absence of F1 my husband sometimes puts things like that on the telly on a Sunday. (Yesterday it was bikes, and he doesn't even like bikes!!)
