And evry vilige has a public bog in it. If you'd ever visited one you wouldn't ask.the last one I tried in a very pretty village was like a slurry pit.

We had a similar experience last year, there is an empty house next to us which we keep an eye on for the owner. One day the dogs seemed drawn to it like a magnet & when we investigated found that someone had had a dump in the barn next to the house. Funny thing was they used loo-paper so they must have had a loo-roll with them.....

I know lots of Kermits who always have a bog-roll in the boot. We brits come from a culture where there are public toilets everywhere. The French are different.

I agree stavros. Toilets and toilet habits are one area we Brits could teach the French a lot about. In London we can text to find the nearest loo and pretty good they are too. Dinard has sufficient for my needs but they are disgusting.

We brits come from a culture where there are public toilets everywhere. The French are different. You are joking! A nation of locked up, vandalised or a pound-a-pee toilets maybe. Most people I know in the UK regard McDs as a fine chain of loos and WiFi and not much else.
