Today sky have announced that next year they will be screening all the Formula 1 meetings including (live) all the practice and grid placings as well as the full races - BUT will be on Sky Sports so you have to pay.
the BBC who said a few weeks ago it costs them60 million a year to screen the races and had to choose between that and keeping BBC 4 open have gone the halfway house with dear old (very old) Bernie and agreed to screen about 1/2 the meetings and the highlights.
Personally I don't care as I am like so man others, bored with F! and prefer to watch Moto GP and World Superbikes - much more interesting racing and dependent on just the rider rather than the brilliance or cock-ups of the pit crew.

F1 ...............Its not real genuine motorsport - its simply a business that makes huge amounts of money for shareholders its not about racing

Meetings? Does that mean races? Why bother only showing half of them though? Poor OH will have to go back to watching on French telly. ;D He started off in France having to watch it on German telly though! All I could understand was Langzammer! Oh by the way Ali he says he won't be able to come to Lunarsaddo on Sunday until it is over, so I am setting off at 11am on foot.......
