that something you use on the Internet, or on your PC is common knowledge to everyone else. I thought my brother knew loads about PC's and yet when I told him about Google Docs he was in the dark! I use Google docs to dump info that I find on the Internet rather than fill up my PC..which is already full of other junk! MOH had been trying for hours to find a form re importing/exporting a car. I said have you googled it...which I did and found it literally within a minute! OOPS.. I use GOOGLE alerts to send me emails everyday about subjects that I am into or people, try it! I love Google tell me something that you assume I may know and don't!

Google docs is pretty good must admit. Also many don't know that there is a free version of Office (Open Office) that does spreadsheets/word etc - google search will bring that one up. My best latest discovery was that, whilst on tinternet, you can press the control button and the + button and the page gets bigger! or control - to make it smaller again. Brilliant as now in mid 40s can't see small writing on big screens

I have been doing that + - thing for some time but made an assumption.. tut that it was just for my Dell Inspiron.
Also if you use a forum that doesn't have a spell checker, use the Google ABC check, I have one on my Google toolbar.

Spell-checkers! I hate 'em! They used to destabilise me (there it goes again... destabilise with red dots under it) and make me reach for a Concise Oxford, until a friend of mine pointed out that most of the damn' things are American! They change "s" to "z", then call it "zee" instead of "zed", they steal the "u" from harbour, colour, etc (done it again, red dots under those two!), then try to impose their uncultured ignorance on the rest of the world via so-called "spell-checkers"! It's cultural vandalism!
