The problem with "the grand order of things" and the so-called laws of physics, is that every once in a while someone comes along, like Newton or Einstein to name but two, and we have to rewrite the law books... I wonder what's around the next corner... try googling "noetics" Well according to Einstein physics goes out the window once you’re (theoretically) in space travelling at the speed of light. Evan time is affected. Anyway if God made the heavens and earth, he also made the laws of physics. But taking away all the biblical nonsense that was written by man and altered along the way to fit better to various religions, it is entirely possible that there ‘is’ a grand order of things. And you can bet we are not the hub of it. How can we challenge a grand order if we still can’t define what gravity is?

Yes some do, but most don’t, i.e. the earth has wizzd around the sun now for some considerable time, ok we might have a few asteroids hit us now and again, and possibly wipe a few dinosaurs out, but life goes on regardless. The Earth and the sun have been battered over time. The moon has possibly smashed into the earth at some point and so the earth has incorporated the moon. Big bit that escaped is what we call the moon. We don't know if and when the earth or/and sun will be oblitterated before they die. The time that people have been on the earth is but a miniscule piece of the time that the earth has been around. It has already been battered by more than the moon that is nearby. It has already exploded due to that impact and all the bits have then come together and formed what we know as the earth. The best theory I have read about the moon, is that it’s/was part of the earth that got ejected into space following an enormous impact by something huge. As an aside, did you know that the suicide rate goes up at full moon? And that the name lunatic was used to describe mentally ill people who also react badly to a full moon. The crime rate goes up as well, but I reckon that’s down to better light. So if the moon can effect people to that extent, doesn’t astrology come into play as well?

It doesn't.

a bit "off topic" but I'm totally convinced of the benefits of "moon gardening". I planted/sowed controls 2 years ago to sway my sceptical friends. The evidence is here, come see and be convinced!

Could you give us an explaination of all that in laymans terms?? My poor brain is now spinning......

Basically string theory is the theory of ‘everything’ it’s a bit like tying bits of string together to make a ball of string. Or a sceptic might say it’s like trying to affix a goldfishes head onto a diesel locomotive.

I do believe in God and will continue to do so. My God does not have a nationality, no particular colour of skin, has no chosen people, does not favour anyone, has no gender, never had "their" picture taken, never shaken my hand nor haunted my dreams. But I do believe until the end of my natural life. Is this god of yours benevolent to all?

Yes and No - Only if we respect her and treat her right, then she will be very benevolent to all who adhere to her laws. She is called Mother Nature, by the way. Is this the Mother Nature who will impose starvation droughts or floods of biblical proportions?
