Why Ali has put me in charge here is beyond me, thermal combinations and a good pair of corduroys are what' required in this weather not flimsy undies and flowery skirts!!

Heres a question for you Bartyb.
I seem to have lost quite a few tv channels and because I'm daft I am scared to reset everything and start again cos I really have no idea what I am doing and I don't want to lose the few channel I have left. Do you have a "real" idiots guide?

I seem to have lost quite a few tv channels and because I'm daft I am scared to reset everything and start again cos I really have no idea what I am doing and I don't want to lose the few channel I have left. Do you have a "real" idiots guide? It all depends on what sort of box you have....... If you'e using a Sky box with no card, then they update themselves automatically and there's not a whole bunch you can do.... Even if you have a "Yellow House" card you'll have lost Five, Fiver, FiveUS and Sky3 over the last few months and may have lost ITV1 in the last few weeks. There's workarounds for Five and ITV1 but the rest are gone for ever. The easiest options are either a new card (£20 from Sky) or best of all a FreeSat box which are on special offer at Agos in the UK for less than thirty quid. If you've got a generic French digibox then it'll be well overdue for a complete retune if you've not touched it for a year or so and can get a bit involved..... I'll try and write a generic guide when I've a mo' trouble is they're all a bit different.
