It was the only place the driver could go as it went up in flames when ignition switched on - he was commended by clerk of course for his quick thinking to get the car to a marshal post with fire fighting equipment and away from the cars in pit-lane where it could have been a very major "incident"

i must say i hate fire i remember i had all but finished restoring a lotus elan sprint the car was just waiting for a fuel tank filler hose i wanted to start it up so put some fuel in the tank which is in the boot with the battery put jump leads on as the rebuilt engine was a little tight turned the key and there was a spark from the jump leads when i went round to check the petrol in the tank was on fire i panicked and put my hand over the filler neck and luckily it went out ,and the time i was working on a lotus 7 i was upside down with my head under the dashboard checking some wiring when one of the mechanics thought it would be funny to light a bit of rag and let it smolder under the car its really hard to get out of that position in a hurry believe me

Great post!Getting a comfy vehicle is really significant to me because I travel a lot. That is why I was fairly thrilled when I found a site that helped me pick out a vehicle. I was even able to get pre-approved through the site, making things much easier on me. How often have you needed additional info about a used or new vehicle and turned to an internet search.
