He is not at all what I imagined him to look like. I had a vision of an actually younger person with dreadlock type hairdo and being very new age but he is quite the opposite.

From what I have read about him he’s a hard grafting (casual) worker, but it looks like luck is not riding with him at the moment. He took on the system and it won, it usually ends that way.

I reckon we should set up a rota and invite him and his yurt to stay on our land in turn. It must be allowable for a short period at a time.

That’s a lovely idea Sally, and to be honest I did dwell with inviting him to use my land, but if you let people use your land they start to get rights under French law.
