In the early sixties, I spent around 18 months in Andalucia. During this time I went to 4 bullfights along with Spanish co-workers and friends. Malaga, Fuengirola, and Seville.
It is no more than ritual slaughter with a good dose of torture thrown in.
That I ever went more than once now seems unbelievable.....

I'm all for bull-fighting, albeit with a couple of minor rules changes.
Firstly, NO SWORDS or any other weapon. The bull hasn't got 'em - why should the matador have an unfair advantage! Next, continuing the 'equality' principle, the bull is naked, so... Finally the matador may wear horns if he chooses - his wife has more than likely put a pair on him in the past...

I don't think that I have ever met a person who thinks that bullfights should continue, this is great news.
