Hi DWR - we just want to eat the asparagus, not turn it into wattle and daub for the gite.
Welcome Nag Champa, we ate at your restaurant once, it was very nice
Hi, Cheeky Chops - I will bear what you have said in mind when the visitor season is upon us ;D.......In answer to your other question, our last UK address was near Basingstoke

Good evening to you all! I am Sam & have a Tony (formerly known as Sam & Tony) Tony is completely computer illiterate but likes to browse the forums (with my help) & occasionaly likes to put his 2 penneth in (with my help) so mostly I am Sam but occasionaly I am Tony Are you all keeping up? We have 3 children 22, 15 & 3, 1 grandaughter & 1 on the way (due at the end of May) We have 2 dogs, 6 Sheep, 4 Lambs, 3 Turkeys, 2 Ducks, 5 Chickens & loads of Moles!! We moved to Brittany in 2005 after spending a year renovating - the house is still not finished ..... it's an ongoing project!! Can you believe I am married to a builder? He is too busy working on everyone elses propertys to finish ours! & Yes he was in the trade before we moved here!! I had many careers before we moved here; a barmaid, a bookie, a nursery nurse & a secretary but since moving here have turned my hobby into a career & now repair clothes & alter curtains for a living! We originate from up North ...... Sheffield to be more precise & bought a beautiful stone house near Lannion with a massive garden, which is like a blank canvas. I would love a lovely landscaped garden & every day I walk outside scratch my chin & wonder where to start I've been doing that for 4 years now!! Anyhow I'm waffling now .... too much wine! & my husband has left me home alone with the computer ........ he's gone back to the UK for the 1st time in nearly 4 years to fetch my shiny new red car ;D Looking forward to mingling with all you folks on here as this forum looks much more friendly then the other alternatives!! Cheers for reading my life story

Morning all,
yes we should have a Gourinoise sub group...theres quite a fewof us hiding in the mud round here! We should at least get together for a coffee (or wine) LKb and wibble!
Harry's shirt is still a bit big for him so is hanging in his wardrobe waiting for him to fit it...he still wants to be the Stig (and a rock star) when he grows up!
Sam we are from the north too...were in barnsley for 10 years before coming here!
Nagchampa is the name of a type of incense......we had had a delivery for the little shop we had in the restaurant, of joss sticks and things and the box had nag champa written on it so when I was trying to think of a username it just sprang to mind! Also I was known as Sat Nag as I was always the navigator...however husband has just got a new job with a new car and a tomtom....so I am redundant (Im a little worried as he has long conversations with her!!!)
