Hi, I live near Gourin with my husband. I am mad about gardening but am still a novice. Rather crazily I have just begun to prepare an asparagus bed. We must be some of the only English here without dogs and cats, but I do love animals (apart from moles, she said, darkly...) even though we don't have pets at the moment.
As well as gardening, I love reading and keeping in touch with friends and family in the UK - in all ways from the technological to plain old letter writing!
Am looking forward to chatting with you all

You will have a laugh here if you are not scared off within the first hour. ;D

Thanks Ali. Yes - Barty, where are you? Need to know how much of the 20 kg bag of lime to dig in for 15 aparagus plants....
Forgot to say I also love Riding and Swimming - not at the same time (lol) but preferably in that order - so the swimming eases the stiffness after the riding!
