Driven by Elkays pork pie making a few weeks ago and lately Britchicks I also decided to have another bash (my 4th attempt) Followed a recipe for Melton Mobray Pork Pies from the British Farmers Dairy Cookbook thingy that was prob published in the '70s which I stole from my mum years ago Any road up, they've turned out lovely. Used metal cooking rings as a support coz only wanted pies for 2. Substituted Anchovy for Fish Sauce. Made the lids so they would lift off for ease of pouring in the jelly and here they are fresh out of the oven. Have now poured in the jelly and letting set in the fridge, may do a 'cutting' pic if quality of walls are strong enough
