Making space for winter crops at the mo and have just sown Chinese Cabbage and about to sow Rutabaga (a bit late for the latter really). Winter Spinch is another one that can go in...
Is there anything else worthwhile sowing now?

That's the way I feel right now, BC. Seriously tho, just bought more Harict nain, can sow right through august, and good old mâche is a consistant winter performer

Blimey, forgot about the chinese cabbage, must go through my seed packets and see what I've forgotten!
I'll be doing my curly kale and PSB soon.

I will give you some PSB seeds at your do (not too late to sow them). My brother brought over 3 packets last year!!! I'll be sowing some for my neighbour as well - makes no difference how many I sow but I'm not going to get through 3 seed packets over the next couple of years. I do have a variety called Rudolph which is very early compared to the regular PSB (hence Xmas name) so I am looking forward to trying that one as well as another later variety. Will check how many seeds in packet and give you some of that too.

Eryri That's not much use for the tomatoes ;D but it's true for the potatoes. The only problem I have is that my maincrops need about another month of growing, so we have sprayed several times with Bordeaux mix and I'm picking off infected leaves. But if your spuds are ready now then cut off the haulms (green growth) and they should be OK to leave in the ground until you need them.
