I've filled our veg patch pretty much already ! It's about 16m x 7m ish but chock-o-bloc, I need more space..... Before we had the chooks a few years ago there was a huge pile of stone right where the chook house was destined for, I moved countless barrow-loads of the stone and made 'dry-stone-walling' around the garden and in my wisdom decided to make a hard-standing trailer park beyond the greenhouse..... Well the trailer base had rotted away, it was an older English trailer and not legally towable here behind a Fr car, so I decided to give it a few whacks with the lump hammer, lighten it and move it.....

The reasoning was that I'd spotted a position for a nice new veg patch BUT of course, I'd stoned it for a trailer park ...... needless to say I re-moved umpteen barrow loads of stone....

Nearly the 'finish the hedge' project was due to start around now, after potager extension; I've been trying to rid of the ivy where the hedge is going and then it rained That ivy is rampant! These projects are all down the same end of the garden. Today both Fli and I are on project spare room floor replacement. Picking up the flooring from Casto this morning

Pls don't shrink your photos so much cos I can't see properly! How on earth did you manage to shift all the rest of those stones there were still tons there the other day AND dig, gosh you have been busy! But the burning question is....... where did you shift the stones to? Will it be another veg patch before too long? ;D Looks pretty with the picket fence tho' I don't think your dawgs will take much notice - they jump over your wall which is higher than that. ;D

Oky doky Mad M, point taken, tho I didn't think anyone would be interested really, but as you are I will make the next lot biggerer Did it all yesterday, after having helped unload a removal - hurt now I barrowed the stones to a patch next to the fish pond that I 'don't think' will be transformed into anything else ;D so have made a new path there and used the stones as a weed suppressssenant 'viewing point' with a chair on top. Next thing is I'll probably start a project that requires stones

I'm always interested in other people's photos (well, of their gardens that is, maybe not their babies ). So lump of wobbly stones with chair on top then, so that unsuspecting guests fall into the fish pond?
