Torrents of rain lashing the house and here listening to the strong wind rattling the gutters and trees-terrific noise!Always think of the animals out there with no shelter, silly I know, but wonder if it's just me?

Not just you x Crosses my mind too. Hopefully they've found themselves a nice snug place to shelter in.
Is lashing it down here and throwing a hooley. Just let the dawgs out for oui ouis and noticed a chrysanth in its pot has blown completely off the patio table.
No doubt it'll be early rounds later this morning for a damage check.
Brittany Ferries had a huge weather warning for tomorrow but they've marked it down a bit, thankfully as Fli n Diddy are UK bound.
Our hens are in their coop with clean cuddly straw and the rabbit is in the chalet for the winter.
Looking forward to retiring tonight and listening to it for a while.

Bleedy kept me awake last night - thankfully it has quietened down now - or is that a good thing cos I can now only hear the new neighbours very annoying barking and whining every-blasted-morning dog.

Storm was mad here last night too. I slept through most of it as for some strange reason I'd had a sleepless night the night before. No damage here this morning but we had to retrieve a plastic garden chair from half way down the driveway.

Q) How do you spot a happy motorcyclist in fair weather?
A) He's got bugs on his teeth.

It actually wasn't too bad here up on the Roscoff end, more rain than wind and I have been through a lot stronger gales than that here in August before now. I just get fed up thinking I will take the dog out for a nice long walk, get ready and then the skies are black again. Unfortunately all the trees where I would normally shelter on some of my routes are a bit bare and dog dosn't like rain, mud or wind one bit. Apparently its going to be rough again on friday along this coastline heading north eastwards then up the channel

Still going here lol Maybe the top of the hill near the coast where you can see the sea out the window wasn't the best idea........ About 1km as crow flies to the beach, the house with big tree that blocked the view in the livingroom decided to cut it down yesterday morning, think it was a good idea after yesterday, last night and this morning!!!!!! Now I have a great view from my sofa. Em
