Does anyone know the French word for Mace please?
I'd like to find some for a recipe but having never bought it before I have no idea what it looks like even!

Or some outlaws.
Mace is actually the covering of the nutmeg - but no idea what it is in French.

Never ever seen it for sale here, only Muscade which is Nutmeg. To be honest there isn't much difference (powdered version of mace vs. whole nutmeg grated). I have some if you would like some but it's a few years old - or you could ask Fli to get you some from Tescos.

I've seen Muscade here and bought it but can't remember where-it's in one of the red lidded herb and spice containers-I think it might even be Netto??
