Flowers do not always bring joy. Today I noticed and then complimented Lady S on the bright display of Daffs in the (well I call it the Specimen Jar) in the downstairs loo. Instead of the normal "Yes they are nice, aren't they" I got "Might as well waste my time. You notice nothing, go round with your eyes closed, men never see anything............the've been there three days" Can we ever do anything right!!!  ??  |
