Hope these butterflys are not too boring.
All of these were taken over a space of a half hour in our garden. I went daft and took 300 plus photos.
We left an area to go wild and let nettles, thistles, a few handfuls of wild flower seed, and grasses grow unrestricted. The result was a load of butterflys.
There is no use of pesticides or insecticides used within many acres of our patch.

This and the next shot are of the same insect, the top (open) wings differ greatly for camouflage this one when resting on a stone wall with closed wings is difficult to spot
