French TV will be closing down tonight at midnight throughout Brittany.
When they restart transmitters from about 9 o'clock tomorrow morning, it will be 100% digital transmission. If you don't have a modern set with numeric decoder built in, or a TNT box, the you'll no longer be able to receive French TV!
The simple solution is to buy a TNT decoder (from 25 euros and up)
If you need a new antenna, PM bartyb - good work, honest prices!

Have heard somewhere that the UK freeview box works as a TNT box? Is that right?

I believe panasonic & sony have a model with freeview and sat decoder built inavailable in the UK - might be in France also

Monday morning the reception on Chanel 2 had the hiccups. Since then the reception and soutitrage seems to be ok, I am keeping my fingers crossed. I wasnt sure that my digi box was up to it since they are not all the same.
I am watching one of my fave French presenters Jean Pierre Foucault on TF1 on Who wants to be a Millionaire....not sure I need the soutitrage since you can read all the questions anyway!

Friday morning, the reception for telematin F2......is cwap...the picture is breaking up all the time...so I think I will need so advice from a tv expert!

If you had TNT last week, the chances are that you simply need to retune your box. As far as I'm aware they haven't taken out any transmitters but they have changed a lot of frequencies. Go into the menu and have a nose around, it should be pretty obvious where you have to do it. |

I'd imagine that similar products from these makers will become available for TNTsat |
