A poster there with web building experience mentioned he was building an alternative site to demonstrate what could be done better. Several other members started spreading the word about the new site (including myself) and this morning it appears I have been banned, supposedly for treason? That makes the eleventh time. And the alternative site is? |

I think that I still am at least 5 active members all by myself ! I had a count a few weeks ago and found that I had ten previous usernames before the current one. I promise I will behave myself here.  SpaceBopper - misbehaving is great, as long as other people aren't hurt in the process The Admin on this site is useless and probably won't spot misbehaviour anyway. On a slightly different subject - IMHO people being nasty on forums stems from their own lack of ability to fill their time with useful stuff. Instead of being out in the real world and enjoying what they have on their doorstep they confine themselves in front of a screen and turn their inabilities into irritabilities. Come on - divulge - what names did you possess on Ai (promise nobody else will read this) .... |

I think that I still am at least 5 active members all by myself ! Margot, Breton Lad and Pennaneach that I can remember! Also Dave Evans and Bald Eagle!  Watch a flurry of interest from GOGIF members now I've mentioned Dave Evans!!!! Due to stupidity from a GOGIF member I've now had to get yet another persona on AI.  By heck I've upset philippa on here! She's moaning on GOGIF because of this. The fact is that she exposed my nom de plume Dave Evans for no apparent reason that I can see. By the way she is Philippa over there! Touché |

Here goes - Ynot, Brassmonkey, Underdog, Befuddled, Aardvark, Rusty Van Man, Bad Penny, Lowrider, Backagain, Bad Influence and up until yesterday Anonymous. Currently have another that I am hoping to keep alive until some time in the future when/if they get the site sorted and I will want to run a few ads. |

I've always treated the forums like a pub. I wouldn't say anything nasty without expecting to get punched.I do, however, have a list of gobby tw**s that,over the years, I have had the pleasure to meet in person. One guy severely pee'd me off to the extent that I waited until he advertised something for sale, and then went to his house as a "buyer", dropped him as soon as he opened the door and walked away saying "be careful who you annoy off online".
Anyway, my days of mercenary work are over, and now I need to eek out a living over here, so need to be nice!
Will Craig's List ever catch on n France, or are they all so enamoured with LBC?

Hi everyone, my first post here;)
I see that (nearly) everyone is in agreement about AI.
I used to use it quite regularly, and found it very useful,.. Until they ruined it!
Though it was nice to discover that plenty of folks still needed to use services like they used to offer, and created sites like this one!
Just a little sad it took me so long to find my way here:(
Occasionally I do still have a look on there, but very rarely, having (like many others) been banned, deleted as well as dealing with all the abusive comments!
I agree wholeheartedly with one of the comments made earlier, saying we don't want to 'invite' them here! (Or anywhere for that matter)

Welcome coolbriezh, I wandered over here a couple of years ago, I still use the same name as I could not see the point in changing it.
Can be a bit quiet on here sometimes but some great people who are polite and aim to help.
