Oooo that looks messy ! WD (Water Displacement) but displaced to where? Bring the whole thing into the kitchen and be done with it

Bring the motor indoors and let it dry out slowly. If you have an airline, blow it out with that when dry. I would not advise spraying WD 40 onto the windings, it may break down or soften the varnish which the stator is dipped in and cause you more problems.
