Today I'm.. Rehanging the door in the lounge in our English house as warped. Now off to work as on lates today so may get home in time for a small red! Wondering how to put my location on the map on this forum. If I remember rightly you have to send a message to admin saying you want to be on it and she puts you on.press on messages at top of page.

.....still waiting for my anthracite delivery. (Luckily I have over 100kg stored indoors). I hope to make some icing/topping for my choc cupcakes this morning as I managed to buy some fromage blanc yesterday. I may also have a visit from my part time English neighbours, hence the choc cupcake topping. I'll also be watching the F1 qualifying this afternoon and keeping an eye on the BBC website for the Newcastle match. This evening I'll be watching Strictly....it's my guilty pleasure LOL....

....now feeling frustrated, the cup cake topping came out runny and lumpy, the zip broke on my jeans and I've just walked up to my postbox and forgotten to take the key.....

Thanks for the recipe Bis...the orange flavoured powder topping ingredients came in the box with the cake mix, so I followed their instructions. I'd do my own cup cakes without resorting to a 'box', but they rarely rise properly.

We went out for lunch and did nothing for the rest of day but snooze, read and do crosswords-should I feel guilty? It was a dull wet day.

Finished up a ladder pulling weeds out of daughter's partners house guttering. We then, at Anne's suggestion, drove 14 miles to the Designer Outlet at York. The car park was full of cars for the York Park & Ride system and visitors for the artificial ice rink which takes up half of the southern car park anyway. Drove round and went home! Magic!!!

Work in progress on my dining area. Walls stripped and removing damaged plaster ready for damp treatment. Then plasterboard the bottom half up to a new dado rail and re-paper. It looks a right mess at the moment but needed doing. I am aiming to finish by Christmas
