I'm not panicking. Now there is a threat of Ebola coming to Europe they will soon get the necessary drugs developed for us and on the back of that other countries will benefit.

Still seems to be an amazing lack of action by governments. I see the idea of putting into quarantine, returning health workers from infected areas, has been said to be a breach of their rights. What about the rights of the rest of the population to be able to roam freely without fear of getting this horrendous disease.

A Nurse has travelled from Africa to Scotland and is now in a London hospital with ebola. This morning I have watched the chief medical officer telling everyone the system is working and risk is minimal.
We are talking about a person who has been working with infected people, she has been honest about where she has come from and what she has been doing. She has felt unwell and reported this to the appropriate autorities been temperature checked and allowed to travel onward from heathrow.
Clearly the chief medical officer is as deluded and incompetent as the rest of the UK government because it is as clear as the nose on your face that the "safety checks" in place are completely useless and offer no protection whatsoever to the infected person or fellow passengers. The risk may be low of contracting the disease but if people with full airtight medical suits can catch it then only a fool would deny the risk from someone travelling in close proximity with others on a plane, train, bus or any other public transport.
