Sorry to hear that, hope they get caught.
Been here 8 years with no problems, but just lately I have seen a white van roaming the area, once they stopped outside and looked in my garage, Sam went into his I am a very dangerous dog mode. One of them asked (in English)if Sam was dangerous, I replied that if they did not go immediately they would find out, they scarpered.

Had some friends visit my place and they sent a few photo's one of which was a "marker" a small pile of rocks with a stick pushed into it on the roadside pointing down my driveway - its now removed - my thoughts are Gypsies Last time I was over a small white van came down the lane with a tanned dark haired gypsy type guy getting out and offering to jet wash my roof cheeky git - politely told him thanks but no thanks Keep em peeled folks for any markers or markings on your gateposts you never know who's driving past and having a look around and leaving info for others

how bizzare - definately not a chancer then! can you post the piccy so we know what we are looking for.
i must confess that when we go out we don't even close the door, let alone lock it. - Well with one thing and another, that has all changed this week.
And Ali - thats awful - can't the gendarmes do anything - do you know who it is - take care!

Easy excuse to say its gypsies,I will tell you why I had two kayaks stolen from the garden of the house.Duely went to the gendarmerie to report the theft I was told its those who come to the area from Brest(There is a wll known night club within 5 km).Fair enough says I and left.A couple of weeks later I saw both my Kayaks in the the garden of a so called neighbour.Went to the gendarmerie to report what I'd seen and they went round and returned the two kayaks to me.Moral of the story is look closer to home before saying its one group of people or another.
