- it was a female friend of mine who had to find said 'back street garage' lol, so the skirt might not help I guess it depends which way the mechanic leans And on the gender of the mechanic

If you look on line at www.123pneus.com they sell tyres direct to your home, they also have a section where they have made arrangements with garages local to you to fit them - you buy the tyres they are delivered to you from Germany and you take them to the garage recommended and they put them on - usually at about €20 each. So if you contact a local fitting garage they may well be happy to fit your tyres as they do not supply anyway? In my case the local fitting garage is a Peugeot dealer so not 'back street' - he has done well out of the tyre fitting deal as we not have both our cars serviced by him as well. (Neither are Peugots!)

Hi meldrew, that's exactly what we are going to do a garage in Janze does just that at €20 a wheel for alloy.
