We went to Plymouth on the Brittany Ferry last Friday afternoon, the boat got in one hour early (to avoid the storms) - great except we were foot passengers and our lift came as arranged one hour later!!
Thinks, if they can do that so easily, why do they not do it every time so we who have to suffer the bloody journey do not suffer for so long?

Just returned from the UK via Southampton to Rennes on Flybe. To say it was bumpy is an understatement, it bumped and lurched it's way up and most of the way across, and then bumped and lurched it's way down.I am truly thankful to be back on firm ground, all be it soggy ground.

Just come back from the post office - its truly scarey out there - water is running of the road and the car is planing along the tarmac and the wind is not helping. Today I see the UK is on red alert for the first time this winter; so if its worse than what they've already had, God help them.

The rain has just about passed over here and I've put off walking the dogs for an hour. Luckily I saw the forecast this morning and decided to put off shopping till tomorrow....gave me an excuse to get on with the Ark anyway...
