Tonight seems to be a repeat of last weekend, it must be BBC weather

All ok here but then I'm a tad further east than 99% of the usual posters on here and probably a bit further away from the storm. It was a bit blowy through the night and the lawn is covered in leaves but other than that everything seems in order. I'm over on the Perche borders 61 - it was very windy here on both events. The latest one knocked down one of my log piles along the side of the wooden sided barn where the Wind blasted through the building to get into the stacked logs. Aside from that there was little real damage done thankfully. In one respect its helped with the apple harvest because now they'll only need one trip to pick up the fruit instead of the usual two, seeing as the Wind shook everything off the trees in one go!

The shorter one on Sunday evening took out the electric for about three hours. Had the EDF guy here walking round the fields looking at overhead cables. He drove off and it came back on shortly after.
I only have a handful of apple and pear trees. Sadly the fruit just goes to waste, as the farmer who used to collect it isn't well enough to now and I have no wish to make cider. I do have two walnut trees and so far have collected over two kilos. Hopefully there will now be more. My logs are stored indoors in my utility room. Didn't stop one of the cats causing an avalanche in there though....
