Subject: WITH AGE COMES WISDOM When I was 14 I hoped one day I would have a girlfriend. When I was 16 I got girlfriend, but there was no passion, so I decided I needed a passionate girl with a zest for life. In college I dated a passionate girl, but she was too emotional. Everything was an emergency; she was a drama queen, cried all the time and threatened suicide. So I decided a girl with stability. When I was 25 I found a very stable girl but she was boring. She was totally predictable and never got excited about anything. Life became so dull that I decided that I needed a girl with some excitement. When I was 28 I found an exciting girl, but I couldn't keep up with her. She rushed from one thing to another, never settling on anything. She did mad impetuous things and made me miserable as often as happy. She was great fun initially and very energetic, but directionless. So I decided to find a girl with some real ambition. When I turned 31, I found a smart ambitious girl with her feet planted firmly on the ground and married her. She was so ambitious that she divorced me and took everything I owned. I am now older and wiser, and am looking for a girl with big tits.

By the way JohnP is that an old Bristol single dekker as your avatar? It is a Bristol L5G with 35 seat Eastern Coach Works body. Built in 1950 and supplied new to Crosville Motor Services. It spent most of it's working life at Rhyl depot in North Wales. Powered by a 6990cc 5 cylinder Gardner diesel engine with a 5 speed straight cut crash gearbox and vacuum brakes. No power steering. I rescued it from someone's front garden in 1989, where it was being used as a garden shed and together with 4 others spent 3 years restoring it to the condition in the photo. Last I heard it now belongs to an enthusiast in Holland.

Wow, as a West Country man all my younger life was spent travelling on Bristol made buses. I used to have to visit the Longwell Green factory as a security guard for a while in the 1970's but by then they were making fire engines.
Holland is a good place for the old girl compared with N Wales, less hills to negotiate needing less gear changing with the old crash box! Takes some type of experienced driver to cope with those as I know when I drove Green Goddess fire engines in my youth!!

I started my career in the bus industry in 1975 with the Western National Omnibus Company as a Driver. At that time it was part of the National Bus Company and the fleet was made up of mainly Bristol vehicles. The depot I worked at was made up of totally Bristols, 17 service buses and two Royal Blue coaches. Most had crash gearboxes and vacuum brakes and none had power steering until 1978 when two brand new Leyland Leopards arrived with semi auto gearboxes and power steering. Sadly Bristol buses became a thing of the past when Government meddling forced the National Bus Company to purchase British Leyland products in a vain attempt to improve the fortunes of these nationalised companies. The result however was that all three failed and are confined to history.
