Does anyone know when the programme of who's on starts to be announced for the festival at Carhaix ?? in July I know that announcements are always a bit "fluid" of who's appearing but would like to keep an eye on things. I'm only about 20km away and should really get myself organised to go along ........... missed Springsteen last year

I saw Bruce there last year! Bloody fantastic it was too. And The Killers, even Fiction Plane ( who is Stings son ) were good. Here's a link; www.vieillescharrues.asso.fr/But it's always subject to change, people drop out. Take water, and something to eat, and leave it in your car though, it is a nightmare getting out. Took us four hours to get home, and it's only 45 minute drive, the rest of the time we spent trying to get out of the car park!

We went last year on 2 days....you don't have to go on all of them!! As festival goers in GB it reminded me of Glastonbury meets the WI !!!!! So my advice is to park on the road well out of towm....means a walk in and out but no queueing to get out of carparks! If you park up near the intermarche end of town its really easy! Take food.....unusually for France the food on site is not brill and there is nothing remotely veggie! The icecream and beer is great! Do not take anything considered dangerous.....and very odd things are considered dangerous....like my small sons glow sticks which were confiscated If anyone needs a bed when its on let me know as I'm 30mins away!

Have to admit we didn't really enjoy bruce that much as not fans but the Killers were awesome as were the Ting tings and Moby! I was gutted to miss Benabar who was not on the nights we went but really liked Frances Cabrel......! Tambours de Bronx were very good and unusual to.....apparently they did a set with the Freres Morvan....!

Apparently 4 day tickets are selling very quickly although I suspect I'll still be able to get hands on some in local bar ;D ;D Was fortunate to see Springsteen a few years back and he was excellent, also wanted to see Killers last year friend of mine went and said how good they were. Wonder if anymore big names to be announced seems a bit light on line up so far Ting Tings have struggled a bit after mid 2009 .......... seems they done a round of the festivals and simply ran out of material with only one album that was all they had

Have got my tickets to see the mighty Muse! & am very excited!! ;D Went to see them a few years ago & they were brilliant We went to Carhaix on the Sunday last year but made the mistake of taking the kids don't really think it was suitable for the 3 year old so we're dumping the kids this year! We actually quite enjoyed the food last year but enjoyed the ice cream & beer more
