There should be a small screwdriver slot in the brown bit where the white loop wires are. gently turning this left or right adjust the cut off point of the thermostat. Normally right increases temp left decreases. Take care that the stat adjuster is not seized a little, move it gently with the screwdriver.

Mine had a little lever at the base of the white box, is that the tip of it on the left hand side, just make sure the bloody power is off, LoL.

Having once witnessed a guy being thrown across a workshop (he survived, just) by three phase eclectricity, this circuit is using one of the phases but I am soooooo careful as to be almost paranoid, even when I know for sure the power is off I still check with a meter

You can adjust the thermo as suggested, but you should be aware that the manufacturers set the temperature at 60 degrees as standard, this is to avoid any possibility of Legionnaires virus surviving and is, I understand, laid out in French Norms.

I was hoping somebody might have the same design and be able to tell me how (and if) I can do it.
The tank has only been used on a few occasions when we needed extra capacity for guests, as it was only the guests who used the water we never noticed just how hot it was, our main tank failed recently so I moved this one in it's place, I turned it on yesterday and this morning the water temp is way to high, maybe the stat is faulty, I will have to check it but can't before Thursday so I will have to run the heater for a few hours during the day.
