Just as an aside, the amount of diagnostic software now available is astounding. Not long ago we used to have problems with customers with intermittent faults on their vehicles. They ones that are never there when you visit the garage and never seem to show up on the diagnostic computers, or the breakdown company cleared them in attempts to start the vehicle. Just plugging in a basic reader to the diag plug and sending the customer away for a few days then reading the stored driving data solved lots of problems. Now the data can be transmitted via 3G or wifi in real time. The black box and big brother is on its way. Loads of software on Ebay but I will be using an app recommended on a Rover 75 forum, apparently it also lets you change some settings, not sure if I would want to do that though.

Re-mapping the engine management profile is not for the faint hearted but there is a lot of knowledge out there that is well proven and available commercially.
By the way some apps appear to be addictive, Lady S plays angry birds, and birds on blocks to excess, worse than a teenager. Oh and all those card games and scrabble .........

JBC is correct. There is not a Linux version but it has been promised; don't hold your breath as there is not a big Linux market that would pay for a pro version. Silly really 'cos bluestacks is written in Linux, and in Java as are most android apps but even the Wine users (which is similar emulator allowing win progs to run in linux) have had no success in hacking it to run. Some guys have had some success (reportedly) in getting some apps to run with an Arm chipset emulator. Personaly can't be arsed.
