Thank you one and all for a lovely welcome. I live in 36 right out in the sticks where during the winter months the 300 strong inhabitants hibernate. and are rarely seen 'til spring. The garden is large 4000sqm and the recent snow gave us an indication of what's been visiting from the woods and fields. No sign of deer this year (last year loads) just many birds [their feet must've been frozen] and rabbits who have been very cheeky and came right up to the house, but nipped next door to much on their garden. I don't like Wabbits!!!! We learnt very quickly that a Wabbit fence was needed round the veg plot, ensuring the chicken wire went well down into the ground to stop the little B's burrowing. Mind you they have kept their heads down prior to and after the snow, as the moggie that's adopted us, catches them and eats them too. Other than that, rush hour is about 4 tractors and in the summer, we have bl**dy big combines charging through here as late as 11.30pm.
