Have never been to Vitre but everyone does say how lovely it is. Where do you get your blue skys from!!??

If you want to easily alter the blueness of your sky, Ali, use a polarising filter. If used the sky colour will alter in depth of colour; dependent upon the angle of the sun in relationship to the subject. Can also be altered by rotating the filter through 0 t0 90 degrees angle varies the degree of polarisation. Simplistic answer but a good bit of kit to have. Remember the lessons on Newton's Rings you did in the Physics classroom.

Thinking about this my first thoughts were to post a "French" picture; then I thought what is my current 'french image'. So after over 40 +years of french travel my posting is a shade modern, but very recognisable as a new french icon.

This French Image is dedicated to Troll, who admitted to once being a member of a 2CV Club.
This was taken on English soil, we were on our way home from France, just after the Tunnel, and a group of French Families stopped for a break. They were on their way to a 2CV club meeting in Scotland!
